alright i've decided that im finally going to get a wetsuit. i'm going to get one of the velocity suits from xterra. i was wondering if their is a big difference between the full leg or half leg length and if their is a difference in the velocity suits compred to the vortex3 suits

Well, the Vortex is an actual wetsuit. It'll give buoyancy and warmth. The velocity suits seem to be just a "speedsuit". They are used when races are not wetsuit legal. I'm not sure if they give any warmth and I'm pretty sure they don't add any buoyancy. Most races are wetsuit legal, so I'd go with the vortex3 suits. They're $99 right now. I would agree. You will want warmth while waiting in the water at Havasu. I thought I was going to freeze to death last year.

A new member of our club named Stephanie bought a wetsuit on ebay that ended up being way to big for her. Maybe it will fit you. She is trying to find someone to sell it to.
